ช่อง 3 จัดกิจกรรม “ของแลกแต้ม” ช่วยเหลือสังคมและได้ประโยชน์ต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม
ที่อาคารมาลีนนท์ ทาวเวอร์ ถนนพระราม 4 เมื่อวันที่ 28 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 บริษัท บีอีซี เวิลด์ จำกัด (มหาชน) และ สถานีโทรทัศน์ไทยทีวีสีช่อง 3 จัดกิจกรรมให้ความรู้เรื่องการจัดการขยะและขยะอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (E-Waste) ภายใต้โครงการ “ของแลกแต้มกับ ECOLIFE app” โดยมี นุ่น-ศิรพันธ์ วัฒนจินดา นักแสดงนำจากละครเรื่อง “เรือนทาส” เป็นตัวแทนจาก ECOLIFE มาให้ความรู้แก่พนักงานและผู้เช่าอาคาร
ภายในงานมีการจัดบูทเพื่อดาวน์โหลดแอปพลิเคชัน ECOLIFE ซึ่งเป็นแพลตฟอร์มที่เชื่อมต่อเครือข่ายร้านค้า สินค้า และบริการสีเขียวทั่วประเทศ (ECOMAP) ที่สนับสนุนการปฏิเสธพลาสติกแบบใช้ครั้งเดียวทิ้ง และการส่งคืนขยะตามจุดทิ้งที่เข้าร่วมโครงการฯ รวมทั้งให้ความรู้ด้านการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมที่ยั่งยืน เพื่อให้พนักงานและผู้เช่าอาคารได้รับความรู้ ความเข้าใจ ที่ถูกต้องเกี่ยวกับการจัดการขยะและขยะ E-Waste พร้อมกันนี้ ยังเปิดบูทรับบริจาคของไม่ใช้แล้ว (สภาพดี) ให้กับมูลนิธิกระจกเงา เพื่อนำไปคัดแยกและจำหน่ายเป็นสินค้ามือสอง เป็นการสนับสนุนการใช้ซ้ำหรือการนำกลับมาใช้ใหม่ รายได้นำเข้ามูลนิธิเพื่อช่วยเหลือศูนย์คนหายและคนไร้บ้าน และสนับสนุนการดำเนินงานด้านสังคมต่อไป
การจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ ได้รับการตอบรับจากพนักงานในองค์กรเป็นอย่างดี เป็นสร้างการรับรู้ในเรื่องการจัดการขยะที่ถูกต้อง โดยขยะ E-waste ที่ได้รับจากการจัดกิจกรรมครั้งนี้ สามารถนำไปจัดการอย่างถูกวิธีได้กว่า 200 ชิ้น เทียบเท่ากับการลดการปล่อยก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ ได้ถึง 2,000 กิโลกรัมคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์เทียบเท่า (kgCO2e) และสิ่งของที่นำมาบริจาคให้มูลนิธิกระจกเงา คิดเป็น 183.33 กิโลกรัม ซึ่งสามารถลดปริมาณขยะที่นำไปฝังกลบได้ กลุ่มบีอีซี และช่อง 3 หวังที่จะมีส่วนช่วยในการพัฒนาคุณภาพสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อมต่อไปอย่างยั่งยืน
Channel 3 organized “Ecolife” Project to create a better society and environment
On 28 February 2024, BEC World Public Company Limited and Channel 3 organized the project “ECOLIFE Application” to raise awareness regarding waste and E-waste management to the employees and the tenants at Maleenont Tower, Rama IV Road. Siraphan Wattanajinda, the actress in leading role of drama “Mystery of the Spirit”, joined the activity to inform the way to beneficially manage waste and e-waste to participants.
At the event, ECOLIFE Application was provided to the participants. The application is the platform that connects with the eco-partners such as stores, brand and eco-services which appear on the ECOMAP in order to encourage the users to take care of the world by refusing the single-use plastics and returning wastes at its drop-points. Moreover, the Mirror Foundation was at the event to receive all used items which will be sorted and available for sale. The money raises by selling the used items will be helped the missing people, homeless and provided assistance to the society as a whole.
As a result, 200 pieces of E-waste received from the activity was calculated to 2,000 kilograms of CO2 equivalents and 183.33 kilograms of used items were donated to the Mirror Foundation which will reduce the waste that goes to landfills. BEC World and Channel 3 will contribute to create better society and environment to ensure the quality of Thai society and sustainable environmental management.
